Distillation is a part of our tradition. Our ancestors distilled wine grapes to make grappa and various liqueurs. Today, we continue what our grandparents taught us. 

The olive tree is a symbol of a mother. In Istria, there is a saying that if you leave an olive tree to grow wild, you can always return, tend to it, and it will still give you oil and a good yield. This signifies that you can always return to your mother's nest.
